Maya walked through the winding hallway of the castle with deadly intent. Her body, long and slim, clad in the tight black leather that creaked softly as she walked. Her eyes focused on her path ahead. One corner of her mouth curled slightly in a partial smile as she thought about her task. Her heart quickened as she walked through the dimly lit halls. It was nearing midnight. Her hair and eyes, both white as snow, shone in sharp contrast to the darkened corridors giving her an almost ethereal appearance. The Orcs gave the woman a wide berth, almost as wide as the Void himself.
She reached out a delicate hand clad in a leather glove with metal studs that adorned each knuckle, taking the handle of the large wooden door and pulling it effortlessly. Her smile grew as her eyes flashed at the reaction of the man hanging within the room. “Oh good. I was hoping you were awake. I couldn’t sleep with the way we left things between us.” She raised a hand, her telekinetic power lifting the man from the rafter holding him up to lie on the large wooden platform. The chains shifted to her thought binding the man tightly against the wood
She smiled now softly as she moved slowly to the platform. “Mmm” she purred as she slowly crawled up on the table to lie next to him. She rested her head against her hand on bent elbow as she considered him. Her other hand drew the silver dagger slowly from its sheath as she pulled even slower along the length of her leg and up her side. She sighed softly, the feel of the blade sending her into ecstatic shivers as she closed her eyes reveling in the feel. Lifting the blade from her, she twirled it absently within her hand before placing it lightly on his chest. She leaned forward, the movement adding to the pressure on the blades tip, and whispered softly in his ear. “Are you ready to tell me now? I stayed away as long as I could but I just can’t bear it anymore. Where did the woman go?” she asked, her lips lightly brushing against his ear. “What did she do with the dagger?” The tip caused the skin to turn white before the blood started to rise to the surface trailing behind the blade as she made the shallow cut from his shoulder down a diagonal to his sternum.
The man jerked under her hand as her breathing quickened. “Still refusing to talk? My, my, but don’t you know how to get my blood racing.” She moved her cut to the other side, meeting with the first in the middle of his sternum. “I will not kill you, My Lord and Sovereign wishes you alive for the time being, but before I am done with you, you will beg for death.” Her smile widened more as she made identical cuts along his waist. “Last chance,” she whispered softly as she gently kissed his lips. “Tell me where the woman took the dagger or I will skin you where you lie.” The man continued in his silence. His eyes held her with the same contempt she had seen in the eyes of numerous men over her years.
Maya tilted her head slightly holding his eyes within hers. “Very well we shall play your way.” She said as she drug the blade slowly down the middle of his chest. She moved to straddle him, her hands moving to his chest as she hooked the blade beneath the skin nearest her left thigh. Ever so slowly, she pulled at the skin as the knife ran just below the dermal layer peeling it easily from the muscle. The man tensed, his voice screaming out into the stillness of the night as he struggled beneath her. He began to speak all of the information she wanted as he begged and pleaded for her to stop. Maya looked him in the eye as she dropped the second large piece of skin to the floor beside her. She handled the blade as accurately and skillfully in her left hand as in her right.
The platform was heavy with the man’s blood as it ran from him to collect within the grooves and flowed slowly to the large basins on the floor. Maya leaned forward, pressing her chest fully to the man, her lips meeting his in passionate embrace. She drew back looking deeply into his eyes. “Thank you my love. Perhaps we can finish what we started later.” She kissed him once more before she moved slowly from him, her leather soaked in blood. She stood, straightening her clothes, and moved toward the bench by the door. She picked up the cloth, dipping it into the water basin, and proceeded to wash the blood from her face and chest. She next took it and cleaned the blade before replacing it into its sheath on her thigh. She left the room and walked back through the corridors to her room. Once inside, she stripped from the bloody leather and pulled on another set. She opened the door and handed the clothes to the large Orc outside who shifted warily. “Please have these cleaned and returned to me before evening. I must prepare for a trip.” Maya closed the door and climbed into the large bed. Sleep came to her almost at once as she lie formulating her plan, the list of names rolling within her mind, while she slumbered.
