Appearance: Maya is tall and slender. Her appearance is very deceiving because though she looks slight, she is very strong. Her hair and eyes are snow white and her skin is darkly tanned. None have lived after seeing her except the Void. She wears tight fitting leather in various colors depending on her mood but will dress as needed to blend in if she’s on assignment.
Personality: Maya is mad to the point of insanity. She is driven by her need to feel pain and to inflict it. It gives her joy and deep satisfaction to the point that she takes extreme pleasure in it. She is a very gifted actor which enables her to get close to those that she is targeting.
Faction Affiliation: She is aligned only with the Void.
Weapon(s): Knives, many, many knives and a whip though she is skilled in the use of many weapons, these are here favorite. Maya is a mage. She has the ability to alter her hair, eye, and skin color at will. She can also manipulate things around her through telekinesis.
Bio: Maya was born in a small village in the middle of nowhere and her mother had to flee with her for her safety. She raised her until Maya was around 10 in the wilds of the forests teaching her how to control her abilities and mask her appearance. One day while they were gathering food, slavers happened on them and Maya’s mother was killed trying to protect her. Maya was sold many times over and by the time she was 16 she had been tortured and abused to the point that there wasn’t a trace of the innocent child left within her. Her last master happened to see her magical ability one day as she ruthlessly murdered one of his men because he tried to show her kindness. Knowing the potential value she could present him with, he trained her in the use of weapons and thievery. She was captured by the Void when her master sent her to steal a magical dagger from the palace of the Void.
The Void tortured her relentlessly but Maya, already twisted from the abuse and torture of her years came to look forward to the sessions. She found a perverse relationship with the Void and he soon had her loyalty as he allowed her freedom to indulge her sadistic desires upon his prisoners in the castle. Soon she gained his favor and he started to allow her out to enact a reign of terror across the whole of Malnor leaving chaos in her wake.
