With just one look at the shield Shero thought better of grabbing it and attempting to cary it. "All yours Flamie." Said Shero as he gestured towards the shield. The dragon grunted at the new burden he was to carry, and leaned over to assist the unconscious dracon and dwarf in climbing into the sadle. "Well shall we be off then? Um... where is the closest town then?" Asked shero as he glanced around himself.

Horus chuckled as the human denied carrying the heavy shield. He had to admit though that it was heavy even for a dwarf but he had trained with it long enough that it became nonexistent to him and he had rock hard muscles. "Aye the next town is quite far if you don't want to mess with dwarfs or goblins and since none of them is good at healing I say we go to were you humans live." It wasn't completely true since orcs had some good shaman but they hated dwarfs just like he hated them.

"Well then, let us go and find us a nice human village then!" With that, Shero ran up the back of Flamie and gestured to the air, "Onward my fine winged friend!" The white dragon shifted grumpily, and picked up the large shield, with several large flaps of its wings, the dragon began to lift into the sky and began flying towards the south.

Horus grumbled as he was lifted into the sky. He had just remembered he hated flying."D**m!" He swore at the top of his lungs and gripped one of the dragon's spines with all his strength while holding the dracon.

"Ah, nothing like the breeze in your beard, eh Horus?" asked Shero as he wanders around on the dragons back. "Don't you worry, Flamie is as skilled as I am, you won't fall if he doesn't want you to." Shero said with a wink.

Ciraph turned to Creel once again as the Wing flew in formation. "Creel," he said,"I can feel something else nearby now. It feels like another dragon." Creel sighed. Just great. Something else to delay them. "All right," he said,"Let's go check it out." He waved to the others in his Wing to follow him, and they started flying in the direction of the dragon Ciraph had felt.

While talking back to Horus, Shero spotted a wing of dragons in the distance. "Hmmm... looks like those riders from before are here, and from what I heard of the story... I don't think they are all that friendly after trying to grab both you and the lil miss here. Flamie, lets continue flying on and see what they want, just get ready for a good run." With that Shero waved towards the oncoming dragon wing.

Horus forgot his airsickness for a moment and looked at the oncoming dragons. He would have put a hand on his axe but both were presently occupied with holding the dracon and the dragon's spine. "I hate flying!"

"Keep low Flamie, if they mean us harm we'll need a way out." Shero glanced down at the dwarf, "You just... yeah well just hang in there." With that said, Shero reached into his shirt sleaves, and pulled out a large white handkerchief and waved it at the aproaching dragon riders.

Horus sighed as he watched the upcoming dragons. They definitely tried to chase him and the dracon last time they met but he didn't have a grudge against them. But, if they deterred them in any way and became hostile so would he. Dwarfs had a resistance to flames so he should be able to fight for awhile before he was hurt to seriously. With a movement of his arm he brought Agate up to a comfortable position were she could stay and not fall. Horus didn't draw his large battle axe but he kept his hand on its handle and his other gripped the spine until his black hairy knuckles turned white with the strain. He was ready to hurl himself forward.

So much pain. Draconians, like their larger relatives, were tough and wiry, not easily injured. However, a fall like that, especially burdened with a large weight like the dwarf, would cause considerable injury. Her scales were a bit banged up in places, scratched by the rough sand and dirt. Her left arm hit the ground hard, dislocating her at the shoulder. Her right wing was also beat up a bit, though not fully dislocated. Her head, too, was knocked a bit, which led to the fact that after thirty minutes she was still unconscious. The world flew around her and she lay unaware of any of it.
Finally she began to come to. Perhaps it was at the worst time, for finding herself in the air was a bit shocking. Groaning, she shifted in someone's grasp. They were holding her tight and she didn't like it. Her wings began to move, a small growl of pain emitting from her throat. Slowly her brilliantly green eyes opened. An oddly dressed character was there, and she guessed that the dwarf was holding her. But there was something interesting happening. White was beneath her. It felt...familiar. Smooth, hard....she slowly realized it was a dragon scale. Yes, the ground beneath her was moving and warm. She was on a dragon! Startled, she sat up with a small roar.

The small roar was a welcome sound to Shero. He had been waiting long to talk to the Dracon. The graceful young creature was most likely the air elemental he had been looking for. The stories from the dwarf about powerful winds occurring around the Dracon likely pointed to her being the elemental. Now the problem was the Dragon riders.
"Good morning my fair lady. It appears we have met, under well, stressful circumstances." Shero said as he gestured at the approaching Dragon Riders. "They don't happen to be friends of yours do they? Not too badly damaged either are you?" He asked with concern in his voice.

Creel saw one of the people on the dragon waving a white hankerchief. "What is he doing?" Creel thought out loud,"He's not only away from his post, where he isn't supposed to be, but he's acting like a fool! Something isn't right here, Ciraph. You think he might be a Rogue Rider?" "It's quite possible, Creel," Ciraph replied,"but let's not just to conclusions." "Good idea," Creel said, nodding his head and moving the rest of the Wing forward, closer to the other dragon.

Horus nearly fell from the blasted dragon when he heard the roar. He was so focused on an upcoming battle he hadn't paid any attention to the dracon other than to keep it safe. "Aye you tryin to kill the one who saved ya?!" Horus's black and bushy eyes furrowed in anger as he adjusted his bum again so that he wouldn't fall. He turned his head and spat over the edge of the dragon and watched it fall till it passed out of sight.
"Yur hurt rest!" Horus's yelled this at her but his tone was softer(for a dwarf). He didn't want the lass to move and brake her body more than it already was.

As she traveled further into the land of consciousness, Agate began to notice a great deal of things. First off, her arm hurt like the fires of the depths. Her wing was sore as well, but she recognized the fact that her arm was probably dislocated. Best to not move it. Secondly, the bizarrely dressed man was waving something white. Groaning, she shifted on the scaly back of the large dragon upon with they rode. Purely embarrassing to be carried by one. Draconians were a proud race and reveled in their ability to care for themselves. Having another creature carrying her was shameful. Agate craned her flexible neck around, looking behind. Yes, the convoy of Riders was closing in upon them.
"I am not hurt so bad I cannot move," she grumbled, though she did appreciated the dwarf's concern. "Not exactly friends, but not enemies either. I had just met them. Methinks talking with them would go over better than a pursuit, though I do not doubt your ability to outrun them," she suggested. No doubt they were pretty upset with her little outburst. It hadn't been exactly her fault - sometimes she couldn't control the wind as well as she wanted. Not having a trainer would do that for you.

Shero had to think quickly if he was going to avoid a fight with the dragon riders, a fight he sorely did not wish to engage in. "Very well madam, if they are neither friends no foes then let us not become the later. Flamie, keep low and slow down. We should keep the combative advantage on the riders side, as an act of good faith." Flamie grunted and glanced back. "I'm the dragon I know the skies, you stick to your fire tricks. I am glad to hear you are doing better young cousin, I hope you are soon able to join us under your own power." With that said, Flamie began to slow his speed, allowing the dragon riders to come within distance to see, and hear them.

Horus looked around and calculated the distance between them and the dragons. Even though he knew he was wrong since a dwarf was raised on land was a part of the land he guessed he was only a little off. He turned a little more and he was going to give a retort to the dracon when he grunted. He knew the battle wasn't going to happen so his airsickness was back. The adrenaline had taken it away. "Ah just be quiet and lay down. I didn't risk my neck for you to hurt yourself even more than you are now." Horus's voice was gruff and strict yet it still held a gentleness in it and his dark eyes would have shown a little twinkle if it weren't for his eyebrows.

Fortunately the Rider was not one of the stupid men who felt like they needed to fight at every opportunity. He seemed nice enough, even if a bit odd. The other Riders began to close in as the dragon reduced speed. Flamie? A bit unoriginal, but a name was a name. Pretty color, though. Not as magnificent as her shining silver scales, but few things were. Speaking of which....she let out a nearly inaudible moan of anguish as she looked down at her arms. Her beautiful scales...they were all scratched with the sand. It would take a whole day at least to buff out those scratches and restore them to their normal state. Agate was a bit vain.
A small growl purling in her throat, she grudgingly lay still. It was hard when there was so much to do. Her arm still hurt really badly, but she didn't want to reset it in mid air. That would be a bad idea. Reaching a hand around, she pulled in the edge of her damaged wing. Didn't want it getting whipped out in the breeze and damaged more.

Creel motioned for the other Riders to hold back and stay where they were while he moved in cloesr to the lone Rider. "Hey!" he said,"Why're you out here? Shouldn't you be with your Wing?"

"Our wing? Only wing we have is the pair on Flamie here and the pair on our Draconian friend. As for our business we are traveling performers and we happened across these two injured. We are taking them to get aid, so you go ahead and go on back to your wars thank you." Said Shero as he waved off the riders with the handkerchief. They were suspicious of him enough as it is, he needed to get rid of them. He grinned sincerely, "unless you would prefer us to put on a show now and put off getting these two to medical attention for a later time? I do think that may be a tad bit rude though!" At this a small chuckle (as small a chuckle as a dragon can manage) slipped out from Flamie.
