Everett was a natural at lying. When he does he shows no signs of it. If the orc had seen a sign of lying it was his own imagination. He did not lie when he said his family did not get along with the orc kind. "No.. no no.. You must be confused." He shook his head with a grin on it. "In Elven society a family usually contains much more than a single person. I do concur, change has to start somewhere. I'll remind a future son or nephew of mine." Everett continued to eat the rabbit meat. " First of all, I can clearly see you are not starting a fight. Your weapons are sheathed as are mine. Secondly I do not believe I am being disrespectful, I think its quite the contrary actually. Technically I have yet to say any word that should cause harm. Simply that I am not fond of orcs, granted I could say other wise but that would be lying." Everett had an opinion and nearly anything and he would voice it. " I also like to believe pointing out the immature is immature yet...." The elf stopped talking to scratch his chin and pretend to think. "that would be irony...."

Eavan looked toward Everett as he spoke to Glorbuk. She shook her head then turned her attention to the bandits. "Everett, why are the bandits after you?" She didn't know if the elf would take her into his reasons but she was running out of time. Thalmor was depending on her. "There is one in particular that I am interested in. He carries an onyx blade within his belt. It has a gold hilt and gold braid work down the blade. Did you see anything like that in your dealings with them?" She moved scooted back looking for something to rest against and found her movement impeded by something warm and smooth. Karsha's scales. She just hoped it was not the dragon's mouth but was relieved as she reached behind her and made out a large talon to her side. Her claw. Not the best position to be in near an angry dragon but then again...she didn't care.

The rabbit was now just bones and organs. Everett grabbed it by its foot and hurled it into the forest assuming the orc would not want the organs. He stood up and moved to wash his hands in the river as Eavan spoke to him. The elf allowed the water to splash against his hands as he shook his head. " Thievery." He said blatantly. "They had something I needed so I took it." Everett turned back around, there was a half amused look on his face." Ah you mean their leader." He managed to keep a chuckle back. "Unfortunately I have." The elf's mind recalled the moment. " I'm sorry to say that I used said dagger in my escape." He brushed his hands against his pants; his hands were now dry. The elf found amusement in the irony of the moment, but he found it best to act serious as the dagger appeared to be of importance. " I had stolen the dagger among other items from him.... This was maybe a hour or so before you appeared... As I fled from their little fort.." He paused as he reached for a dagger of his own. " There were two on horse back who attempted to flank me, I met them at a river much like this one." With his free had he gestured to the river. "It was out of instinct but I reached for the closest weapon which was the said onyx dagger and hurled it at one of their throats." Everett demonstrated with his own dagger and with deadly precision threw it and hit the rabbits carcass. "With the dagger in the man's throat the horse panicked, the man fell off into the river and was carried down stream. I do not know whether the river leads to the ocean or a lake..."

Eavan let out a low sigh. “Wonderful.” She said softly as she painted a picture within her mind using the sounds of movements and his words. “Now what do I do?” she mumbled to herself as she reached down and pulled her own dagger. It twirled and tumbled effortlessly within her fingers as she absently played with it. She found comfort in the feel of the blade and often times did this as she worked out a complicated problem. “I have to find that dagger no matter the cost.” She needed help and she knew it but just how far could she trust this unlikely group. She kept silent about her seeming allegiance to the Void. This assignment had turned into a deadly game for her as she was forced to go against those she once called friend but she must complete it. If Malnor and its peoples were to have a chance she had to maintain the charade and stay close to him. She was just a bit player in the epic drama but at the moment, she was the closest link to helping bring about his demise. Now, however, her blindness presented a problem. She would have to bring someone into her confidence eventually but she just wasn’t sure yet. She had not survived the rouse this long by being careless.

Everett quietly stood still listening to Eavan talking mostly to herself. He then slowly began to tap his feet as he began to think. The elf was thinking of a suggestion, so far he had nothing. "Huh.... Well assuming this mission is of uttermost important.... Chances are it would best be completed as early as possible." Everett pointed out the obvious. "So you should head in the direction of the river." He stopped talking for a mere second to run a hand through his hair. The previously small breeze had picked up quite a little bit of speed; it was getting some what windy. " It is still quite a walk to get there meaning you could think of a plan of action on the way there. Hell chances are you will be able to again, and once you get there you can do that water voodoo magic thing of yours." He spoke with a smirk. " Granted that is just my suggestion."

A dagger, was it? Why would the elves want such a weapon? She felt something against one of her claws and opened one huge eye. The blind woman was leaning against her foot. Grumbling lightly, though at such close range it sounded like thunder, she moved her foot away in one swift action, flicking her claws as she did so. Just because she hadn't killed them didn't mean she was going to let them buddy up to her. Karsha pitied them in a way - she needed no real weapons. Her scales were protection enough, her claws and teeth more fearsome than any weapon the other races could carry. Yes, the Elementals with their powers could hinder her, but so far she hadn't met any of them who were that practiced. Eavan, though she could do some pretty tricks, couldn't kill Karsha thus far. Scratching the side of her head with a claw, she accidentally dislodged a scale. "Grr shedding," she grumbled. The large, plate sized deep purple scale tumbled to the ground, falling right next to the orc. Shifting her wings, Karsha realized her skin did feel rather...tight. Hopefully she wouldn't shed for a while yet.

Eavan listened to Everett as he offered her his suggestions. She began to speak just as Karsha quickly pulled away her foot and flicked her large claws as she did so. Before she realized what was happening, she was lying face down a few feet away. She rolled over slowly to her back. Her eyes closed as she fought to hold her tongue with the temperamental dragon, biting her bottom lip. Sitting up, she cast a blind glare in the direction of Karsha.
“Everett,” she said as she turned in the direction of his voice. “I need your help. Would you take me to the river where you left the body?” She rested her head against her hand, her arm bent and perched on a knee. This was not something that she relished but the elf was quick of wit and as excellent a swordsman as she had ever seen. She had Glorbuk with her but they would need more help to retrieve the blade if they could find the body.
