“It sounds like as good a place as any to go.” Kia’s chest rose as she pulled in a deep breath. The air smelled different up here but it was Shero’s scent that she liked the most. He smelled of leather and flame. She loved that scent. She watched the terrain below them then turned her attention to Shero. “You love to fly don’t you.” She smiled and rose up to stand on the dragon’s back. She wasn’t scared. She trusted both of them with her life and if she did fall to her death…she would meet it with a heart filled with joy. Kia spun effortlessly, her body adjusting for the currents of air that cut around her. She slid back down to a seated position facing Shero. “You love the freedom you feel when flying don’t you?” Her eyes were alive with excitement as she held him within her gaze.

Shero chuckled, "Of course I do. Every time me and Flamie fly, it reminds me of the first time we escaped from Raspiel... it was a horribly tragic day... but the freedom we gained that day... I'd not trade it in for anything else." Shero kissed her softly, "Well maybe not for anything else, but someone else." he said with a smile. "You two better not do anything on my back, or you will have to learn to fly on your own real quick." Flamie grumbled.

Kia’s smile left for a moment as he talked about Raspiel but returned as he spoke of their freedom. Kia laughed loudly at Flamie’s retort to them. “Don’t worry Flamie, horseback maybe but never on a dragon’s back.” She leaned forward, softly pressing her lips to his then pulled back with a serious look on her face. “Never. Never. Give up your freedom. Do not even say it in passing. I would die a thousand times while still living if you did such a thing for me.” She leaned her forehead against his as she sighed softly.

Shero held her close while the continued their journey. He had already sold away his freedom to the Void, but he would ensure hers and others as long as he could. For several days Shero, Flamie and Kia continued their journey towards the dwarven lands. Making several stops along the way. Shero and Kai lay together in the small clearing with Flamie gaurding them both. In one more day they should be in Darvon.

Kia looked across the short distance between her and Shero. She smiled softly. “Tomorrow then?” she asked him quietly. “And what wonders will lie before us in this land? It shall be interesting I think.” She turned her attention back to the man beside her. She smiled softly as she raised her brow. “You amaze me, do you know that? No other has touched my heart in the ways that you do. I thank the fates for bringing me the lesson of love.” She moved closer to him as she kissed him tenderly.

Shero smiled with a mischieveous look in his eyes. "None other may have touched your heart as I have, and I assume just as few have touched other parts of you as I have." Shero said with a wink and a chuckle, holding her closer. "By the first egg, you two will make me sick." swoar Flamie. "Well I have no idea what we shall experience in these lands, but we shall soon see." said Shero as he ran his hand through Kia's hair.

Kia closed her eyes at the feel of his hand in her hair. She smiled opening them to look back into the eyes that mesmerized her so. “None have touched my heart and you are the only one to touch…the other parts.” Kia had learned over the last couple days to ignore Flamie for the most part. She grinned widely. “Why do you have such a look in your eye? You worry me when I see that look.” She gave him a passionate kiss as she felt his body tight against hers. She laughed softly then spoke to Flamie. “Flamie…turn away.” Kia grinned as she looked into Shero’s eyes. “I think I will love you now unless you find sleep a more appealing notion.”

Flamie grumbled and stood up and spread his wings, "I think I'll go on a patrol," he glanced back at the couple, "you two are insatiable you know that?" With that Flamie lept into the sky and went to busy himself for a while. "I think Flamie said it best, we are insatiable. Sleep does not appeal to me right now, not with such a beauty beside me."
Shero ran his hand down her back as she pressed close against him. His lips easily found her own as they eagerly kissed. His hands mad quick work of her clothes as he stared in her eyes with boyish delight. "Lets begin another adventure this morning." he said as he kissed her gently on the forehead.

Smiling softly, she moved her hands to the leather armor and quickly assisted Shero in its removal. With her index finger, she lightly traced the contours of his chest as she took in the site of his finely chiseled muscles. “Aye,” she said quietly as she kissed him lightly, “another great adventure.”
Her breath left in a small sigh as she pulled him closer to her. His skin felt warm against hers as her body shivered slightly with anticipation. Her hand rested on his hip then trailed slowly up his side. Kia looked deeply into his blue eyes, kissing him with restrained passion.

Kia softly stroked Shero’s cheek as she smiled, looking into his eyes. Sweat and the vestiges of their loving clung to her skin as she lie within his embrace. Her breath came heavy as the sensations of their union slowly ebbed within her. “Shero,” she whispered softly. “I love you.” She said it out loud for the first time since they had met. Her heart continued to beat in fast cadence as she softly pressed her lips to his. “Never have I known one such as you.” She closed her eyes, reveling in the afterglow as her body slowly recovered from their passion.

Shero kissed Kia softly on the forehead and stroked her cheek. "I love you too. I feel... a link to you that could span the lands." He sais as he smiled down at her. "Hmmph, your voices span the lands as well." Flamie muttered as he landed back in the clearing. "If you two love birds are ready, there is a villiage up ahead." "Oh fine you spoiled lizard, we'll see if we can find some nice food for you, maybe a cow or a sheep." said shero as he stood up to get dress. Flamie procedded to make gagging sounds and look away quickly. "By the Elements Shero I just ate! Put some clothes on you two fleshy rats!" Flamie shouted at them.

Kia smiled, softly kissing his chest as she let him feel the strength of the bond she was developing with him. The feelings erupted from her as a warm embrace, caressing his soul gently within the love she felt for him. “I will always be with you.” She told him before laughing at Flamie’s return. Kia stood and pulled on her clothes quickly. “Flamie you are always cranky when you’re hungry.” Kia brushed the dragon’s mind faintly letting him feel her love and caring for him as well. She gathered her things, placing them neatly within the pack and threw it over her shoulder. She grinned at Shero as she made her way to Flamie. She stood before his large snout then placed a soft kiss on the tip of his snout. She winked at him and turned to face the direction of the village. “I feel a fine adventure in the air today.”

Kia and Shero boarded Flamie and closed up camp. As they aproached the dwarven village many of the people seemed timid and frightened. Shero questioned why the people seemed so jumpy. They had aparently heard word of a great dragon wreaking havoc on others in the local area. Shero soon worked out a deal with the villagers to search the area for any sign of the dragon in exchange for a sheep for Flamie. Having heard that Kia was a healer, they asked for her to help around the village as well. Shero smiled and kissed Kia gentley before he left to search, "Love you, see you tonight." he whispered in his ear before jumping on Flamies back and taking off into the wild.
